About Dr. Crisp

As a Naturopathic Doctor, my approach is deeply rooted in connection. I take the time to truly tune in—to listen to your story, understand your lived experience, and explore how your unique physiology, emotions, and environment shape your health. I believe healing begins when we feel seen and heard.

With over ten years of experience serving the greater Portland metro area, I bring both clinical expertise and heartfelt curiosity to my work. I pride myself on my investigative skills—asking thoughtful questions to uncover the root causes of your symptoms. Most health challenges are multifactorial, and I aim to address the whole picture: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

I’m a scientist at heart, holding a degree in Microbiology, and I have a special interest in the gut-brain connection. I believe that when we support the microbiome, we also uplift our mental and emotional well-being. Much of my clinical focus centers on gut health—working with conditions like IBS, IBD, SIBO, yeast overgrowth, and diverticulitis. I’ve seen time and again that when gut health is optimized, patients with anxiety and depression often experience profound shifts in their sense of ease and vitality.

In addition to my naturopathic background, I’ve taken time away from clinical practice to explore other healing paths—working in toxicology research, training in complex mental health care and counseling, and immersing myself in the art of psychedelic facilitation. I’m passionate about creating safe, grounded containers for people to experience deep healing, transformation, and reconnection with themselves.

My medical practice integrates evidence-based naturopathic medicine with a whole-person approach. Whether you’re navigating chronic digestive issues, mental health concerns, or simply feeling out of alignment and are unsure what is causing your current symptoms , I’m here to support you on your healing journey—with presence, care, and curiosity.
